SECTION 2.7 - ASSIGNMENT FOR MODULE 2

1. What are three uses for the computer other than administrative? Give an example of an activity you might use for each in your own instruction. 

2. Give one example of how you might use a word processing feature/tool (e.g., bolding, changing font size/colour) in your instruction.

3. What is meant by anywhere, anytime learning and why is it attractive for adult learners?

4. Explain what is meant by authentic learning.

5. What is the difference between computer-based training and web-based training?

6. What is meant by a constructivist approach to teaching and learning?

7. What is the difference between everyday living theme-based curriculum and subject-specific curriculum?

8. What is an integrated curriculum? Develop a learning unit such as the cooking theme used in this module, but based on a different everyday living theme of your choosing. Identify internet resources that would be useful for the unit.
